Q: Why use a spreadsheet to manage your finances?
A: Spreadsheets are an amazing money management tool! They are easily customizable, save you time and allow you to easily run many different scenarios. This gives them a huge advantage over printables or online calculators.
Q: Is this just a budgeting spreadsheet?
A: No. It does include an annual budget, but goes well beyond that. It can be used to track your cash flow, savings rate, net worth, emergency funds and more (depending on the workbook you purchase). The focus isn't on the budget aspect.
Q: Can I customize these Excel spreadsheets?
A: Yes! You are able to see and edit all cells, columns, rows, etc. in order to customize this workbook to your liking. The structure of the workbook is protected to protect the spreadsheet from being copied.
Q: Can I adjust the categories and subcategories?
A: Budget and net worth categories are easily customizable and the changes will flow to all applicable sheets. There are specific notes to let you know which can be changed and which flow to specific sheets within the workbook (such as the tax worksheets).
Q: What if I already purchased the starter bundle?
A: You should have received an update email with a link to download the new version 2 bundle. If you didn’t receive this, please send me an email from your email address you used to purchase the bundle.(firstname.lastname@example.org)
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, we ask that you first send an email with the issues that are causing you to be unhappy with our product (we can help!). If we are unable to resolve your issue, we will happily issue a complete refund on your purchase within 30 days of purchase.
Q: If I purchase a workbook, but then want to upgrade to one of the bundles later, can I offset my purchase price against that total?
A: Yes. If you email me at email@example.com I am happy to provide you with a discount code to use against the bundle.
